The beautiful countryside found within the county includes miles of walks, National Trust parks and gardens, canals, rivers, and much, much more. But it’s not all countryside walks and enjoying the great outdoors; Northamptonshire also offers plenty in the way of modern entertainment options.

Transport in Northamptonshire

Northampton railway station is on the Northampton Loop of the West Coast Main Line, with regular services to London and Birmingham provided by London Midland. Virgin Trains also provides a commuter service to London, and a departure from Birmingham New Street late at night.
