Second stepper uses Help to Buy to move into her dream home at Hansford Park, Rugby

Jo Stroud, a customer operations manager for Britvic, needed a fresh start with her nine-year-old son Henry. Having lived in Hillmorton, Warwickshire, she wanted to stay local so that Henry could continue going to his school. As a second stepper, Jo wasn’t sure what incentives were available to her so looked into her options and eventually settled on a three-bedroom home at Crest Nicholson’s Hansford Park development in Houlton, Rugby. Her new home is a similar size to her previous house, and she paid £264,950 using the government-backed Help to Buy scheme.
