Mayor marks the topping out of Southampton’s tallest building at Centenary Quay

Award-winning housebuilder, Crest Nicholson, today welcomed the Mayor of Southampton and local dignitaries to its Centenary Quay development, to celebrate the final pour of concrete in the construction of its landmark tower. Overlooking the River Itchen, the tower will be the tallest building in Southampton, standing at a total of 27 stories.

Medwin Calvert and his partner, Lucinda Calvert (both 47), moved to the UK from South Africa 16 years ago and had been renting a two bedroom home in Watford with their two teenage sons, Andrew (19) and Matthew (16).
